Jenny He

President

Jenny He is a retired program manager and systems engineer with over 25 years of experience in IT security, project leadership, and process improvement. Throughout her career, she managed complex technical projects for organizations like the NIH and FAA, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as CMMI and ISO.

At Lockheed Martin, Jenny He served as Engineering Program Manager and Manager of Information Systems, overseeing technical proposals and strategic planning for critical NIH programs. Her leadership in the National Cancer Institute Distribution Center program included implementing comprehensive security measures, conducting external audits, and ensuring federal compliance. She led a team in the development of over 35 applications, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and data management capabilities.

In her role at Leidos, Jenny He was responsible for technical planning and system integration for FAA programs, where she developed innovative solutions to complex challenges and fostered collaboration across diverse teams.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jenny He has dedicated over 25 years to volunteer work with the Hope Chinese School, contributing to the community and supporting education initiatives. Holding a BS in Computer and Information System and a BS in Electrical Engineering, she is certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt and excels in optimizing project processes using Agile methodologies. Now retired, Jenny He remains passionate about sharing insights gained from a fulfilling career and making a positive impact in the community.

Xiuzhu Yang

VP 

Xiuzhu Yang, President of the Union of Chinese American Professional Organizations, has over three decades of IT experience. He worked for local and federal government in his career as an IT leader. He managed multi million projects. As a machine learning expert, he teaches in the university of Maryland to masters degree students. He is in charge of AI application development in the association.

Ken Huang

VP 

Ken Huang is a prolific author and renowned expert in AI and Web3, with numerous published books spanning AI and Web3 business and technical guides and cutting-edge research.  As Co-Chair of the AI Safety Working Groups at the Cloud Security Alliance, and Co-Chair of AI STR Working Group at World Digital Technology Academy under UN Framework, he's at the forefront of shaping AI governance and security standards.

Huang also serves as CEO and Chief AI Officer(CAIO) of DistributedApps.ai, specializing in Generative AI related training and consulting. His expertise is further showcased in his role as a core contributor to OWASP's Top 10 Risks for LLM Applications and his active involvement in the NIST Generative AI Public Working Group.

Huang led the development of the "Generative AI Application Security Testing and Validation Standard" for World Digital Technology Academy. 

His co-authored work "Blockchain and Web3: Building the Cryptocurrency, Privacy, and Security Foundations of the Metaverse" has been recognized as a must-read by TechTarget in both 2023 and 2024.

A globally sought-after speaker, Ken has presented at prestigious events including Davos WEF, ACM, IEEE, CSA AI Summit, IEEE, ACM, Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, and World Bank conferences.

Recently, Ken Huang become memeber of OpenAI Forum to help advance its mission to foster collaboration and discussion among domain experts and students regarding the development and implications of AI.

Liming Zhang

VP

Dr. Liming Zhang is an expert in AI and Big Data, currently working as a Research Scientist at Comcast Applied AI Lab since February 2021. He worked on the frontier area of AI agents, Language Models, Chatbot to support Comcast's Global technology advancement on AI and user experiences. His recent work focuses on developing LLM models for customer care conversations, including using in-context learning with ChatGPT and fine-tuning internal GPT models. On September 2024, he collaborated with team members to launch the first customer-facing sale Chatbot using recent AI technology to ensure Comcast's leading and competing position in the market. 

Dr. Zhang also leads previous research initiatives on personalized and unbiased Speech-To-Text (STT) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) systems to improve Comcast Xfinity's Smart Voice Remote Control on TV. His other work in data-centric Machine Learning algorithms centers on active learning and user feedback loops in ML operations. Dr. Zhang leverages log intelligence to mine user behaviors, supporting both active learning and feedback loop analytics. He also collaborates on the internal AI feedback project, which employs diverse synthetic voices as an end-to-end quality assurance tool for AI assistants. This work was presented at the WSDM 2023 conference. In addition, Dr. Zhang maintains and updates ASR and TTS models with significant global reach.

Prior to joining Comcast, he served as a Graduate Assistant at George Mason University, where his research, funded by institutions like NSF and DARPA, explored using AI to understand human behavior and the interplay between cyberspace and physical space using social media or taxi data with location. Dr. Zhang has also held Data Scientist Intern positions at Bayer and The World Bank Group, where he applied his expertise in AutoML and unsupervised learning to optimize data science workflows and analyze market data, respectively. He is also a veteran Architect and Urban Planner back in China. That background emerged in his wild interests to explore cutting edge areas for AI applications, such as real estate, finance, engineering, media technologies. It also motivates his current volunteer work in AI Application Association at Greater Washington D.C.

Ting Tang has worked in the media industry for over three decades. He has particular expertise in enterprise reporting and op-ed writing. Throughout his career, Tang has held various senior positions, including editor-in-chief, chief correspondent, and producer. With his exceptional journalistic insight and skills, Tang excels at pinpointing key issues and exploring complex social topics in depth.

Over the past decade, Tang has focused on raising civic awareness among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. With a deep understanding of the unique concerns within the AAPI community, Tang is actively supporting grassroots efforts to strengthen the community. Through various outreach and broadcasting initiatives, Tang has helped enhance the AAPI community’s civic engagement and self-identification.Tang is key role of the team behind “DC, the Core,” a bilingual news analysis on U.S. politics. With innovative broadcasting methods and deep political insights, Tang has significantly advanced the AAPI community’s civic engagement and empowerment.

Tang also has extensive experience in marketing, brand building, and multimedia operations. He excels at integrating traditional media with emerging technologies and has achieved remarkable success in applying AI to brand promotion. His work has not only boosted brand visibility but also established deep connections with target audiences, driving long-term growth.
